About IntelliRegime
Most losses come from running the wrong kind of strategy for the market — trend-following in a range, mean-reversion in a breakout. IntelliRegime reads a coin's recent structure using trend strength (ADX), the Kaufman efficiency ratio and volatility, and tells you plainly whether it's trending (and which way), ranging, or just chopping — then which kind of tool actually fits that state. It's the connective tissue that makes the rest of the toolset smarter. Computed in your browser.
How to use
- Enter a coin and timeframe
- Read the regime and its strength metrics
- Follow the ‘what fits’ note to the right kind of setup
- Re-check when the timeframe or market shifts
FAQ
How is the regime decided?
Mainly ADX for trend strength (25+ reads as trending) alongside the efficiency ratio, which measures how directly price is moving versus back-and-forth. Strong, efficient moves read as trending; weak, inefficient ones as ranging or choppy.
Why does regime matter?
Because the same signal means opposite things in different regimes. A breakout is high-quality in a trend and a trap in a range. Matching your tool to the regime is one of the highest-leverage habits in trading.
Is it a signal?
No — it's context. It tells you what kind of setup to look for, not when to enter. Regimes also shift, and the boundaries are fuzzy.
